Zeh Replaces Koritz as Board of Education Student Representative

BOE Student RepresentativeTristan Zeh, a junior at Washington High School, is the new student representative for the School District of Washington’s Board of Education.

Zeh was sworn in during the Jan. 23 Board of Education meeting. He replaces Sophie Koritz as student representative. The term is for one year.

Zeh is involved with a number of activities at WHS, including National Honor Society, Key Club, Renaissance, Track/Cross Country, and was part of the Missouri Scholars Academy at the University of Missouri. He is the son of Steve and Megan Zeh.

After graduation, Koritz plans to study political science and communications in college. She has not decided on where she will attend.

The student representative is expected to attend all regular board meetings and give a student report, usually on things happening at the high school.

The student representative does not sit in on executive sessions or is privy to any confidential information.
