The group was made up of approximately 40 community and business professionals from the Independence area who made the trip to Washington to take a tour of the town.

On Friday, one of the stops was the Four Rivers Career Center, where the group spent approximately 90 minutes touring the building and the different programs.

In the Confluence Room, Superintendent Dr. Lori VanLeer and FRCC Director Andy Robinson spoke to the group about the school district, FRCC and the Confluence.

Also speaking the group were Washington High School Principal Dr. Kelle McCallum and CAPS Global Business and Entrepreneur instructor Cathy Jinkerson.

Additionally, current CAPS Global Business and Entrepreneur students shared some of their experiences from the program and projects they’ve worked on.
