WHS Student Council Donates to United WayWashington High School Student Council recently made a donation to the Franklin County Area United Way for $3,200.

The money came from various fundraisers and projects that the Leadership Class and Student Council have worked on so far this school year, including Homecoming activities and T-shirt sales.

Accepting the check on behalf of the United Way was Kim Strubberg.

Leadership students and Student Council members presenting the check were Megan Duncan, Alexa Bell, Tailer Young, Emily Hahne, Abby Neely, Faith Davis, Elise Pruett, Grace Bryson, Josie Obermark, Emma Duncan, Elise Thierbach, Matt Amlong, Jeremiah Broadbent, Cameron McElhaney, Abbie Dewert, Drew Post, Madison Kleekamp and Caleb McDaniel.

Student Council and Leadership advisers are Allison Graves and Samantha Loepker.
