Focus Group Three

Improving Student Achievement and Engagement
in the Technological Age
Focus Group Three will be comprised of educators, administrators, parents, students, community members, civic leaders and support personnel. We will develop a plan to best incorporate technology into the daily work environment of students to help them become more engaged and improve their achievement levels in all areas.

This group is embarking on an exciting journey that has the potential to change the very fabric of how we educate students in our district. This nine month process will determine the future of our district, redefine our educational process and develop a method to better prepare our students for the technologically advanced world.

The mission of Focus Group Three will be to determine where we are as a district, where we want to be in the future, how we get there and how to determine our success. The group is divided into six subgroups that will work on specific parts of the plan, including communications, device selection, evaluation, funding, implementation and professional development.

If you are interested in becoming a Focus Group Three member, please contact Julie Bell at (636) 231-2006 for more information.
