Modified Day Schedule and Procedures
2010-2011

Scheduled Modified days for staff development, final exams, or work days have been built into the calendar throughout the year and are detailed in the district calendar. In addition, an Unscheduled Modified Day may be announced for unexpected circumstances (called for weather, etc.). These events will be communicated via call blasts, web page postings, etc... Every effort will be made to give as much advance notice as possible for early dismissal to assist parents in making arrangements for their children.

The following plan details Modified Day Schedules and Procedures.

ELEMENTARY

  • Students will be dismissed at 11:50 a.m.; lunch will be served; medications will be given based on parent discussion with the school nurse at beginning of the school year.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

  • Students will be dismissed at 12:25 p.m.; lunch will be served; medications will be given based on parent discussion with the school nurse at the beginning of the school year.

HIGH SCHOOL

  • Students will be dismissed at 12:25 p.m.; lunch will not be served, medications will not be given.

FOUR RIVERS CAREER CENTER (FRCC)

  • AM Students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m.; PM classes will not be held.

PRE-SCHOOL AND EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION

  • Pre-K and ECSE will not have class on scheduled modified days..
