Hornback Teacher/Librarian Collaboration AwardBen Hornback, Washington Middle School Social Studies teacher, has been chosen for the 2020 MASL Teacher/Librarian Collaboration Award.

The Teacher/Librarian Collaboration Award honors a teacher and librarian who have exhibited excellence in working collaboratively.

The award will be presented at the MASL Spring Conference Luncheon on Monday, April 20, at the Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach.

Both Hornback and WMS Library Media Specialist Valerie Jankowski will attend the conference. Jankowski nominated Hornback for the award.

For receiving the award, Hornback and Jankowski will be presenters next year at MASL’s 2021 Spring Conference. Their presentation will benefit other librarians and educators attending the conference.

Along with the cash award of $400, Hornback will receive a voucher for one night’s lodging and two banquet tickets.
