Washington High School’s dance team, the Jaywalkers, will hold a Winter Dance Clinic on Tuesday and Thursday, Feb. 12 and 14, in the Little Blue Jay Gymnasium at WHS from 6-7:30 p.m. Students should meet in the Little Blue Jay Gym lobby to check in at 5:45 p.m.
The Mini-Jaywalkers dance clinic is open to girls in Pre-K through eighth grade. They will learn chants, correct technique and movements, have fun, and get the chance to practice and perform with current Jaywalkers.
Showing off what they learned at the dance clinic, the Mini-Jaywalkers will perform at the Washington boys basketball game on Monday, Feb. 18.
The cost is $35 per student, which includes a T-shirt and free admission to the game on Feb. 18. Make checks payable to WHS Dance Team.
