Mr. Stan Ponder, Principal 5541 Locust Street Augusta, MO 63332 636-228-4375 (local) 636-231-2400 (from Washington) Fax: 636-231-2405 Augusta Elementary School, located in historic Augusta, Missouri, serves 145 students in kindergarten through grade 6 in southwestern St. Charles County and eastern Warren County.  It is part of the School District of Washington.  The original building was built in 1938, but recent renovations, including the addition of a new library, kindergarten room, and office have increased its capacity and added to its beauty. The new “Growing Place” Preschool, less than one mile away, currently serves 7 preschoolers. The district’s preschool program and information can be found here.
