McKenna Deckelman recently was recognized as the April Washington Rotary Student of the Month for Washington High School.
McKenna is the daughter of Bill and Ashley Deckelman and Ryan and Stephanie Kliethermes. She’s a senior at Washington High School and is a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, Band, Link Crew, and the WHS wrestling, cross country and track and field teams.
In the classroom, McKenna holds a 3.94 grade-point average. After graduation, she plans to attend Central Methodist University in Fayette, where she will major in Nursing and be a part of the women’s wrestling team.
Deckelman was presented her student of the month plaque by Donna Klott, Washington Rotary Club President.
