Washington Girls Golf Wins Meet at Wolf Hollow

WHS Girls GolfWashington High School competed in a three-school golf meet against Ft. Zumwalt South and Liberty at Wolf Hollow Golf Club on Tuesday, September 14.

All of the players got in six or more holes before a storm arrived and ended the scheduled nine-hole meet. MSHSAA rules state that five holes can be called a match.

Washington won the varsity meet with a team score of 120. Liberty finished second with 122 and Ft. Zumwalt South was third with 131.

Playing in the varsity match for the Lady Jays were Emily Molitor, Ella Martin, Molly Buschmann, Isabella Fitzgerald, Kyla Engemann and Allison Fournier. Also on the WHS golf roster are Aimee Hanratty, Cecelia Heimos, Caroline Heimos, Kaylee Krafft and Lilyan Nieder.
