Pride of Washington Places Third at Music in Motion Festival

WHS Band Music in MotionThe Washington High School Band, “The Pride of Washington” registered a third-place finish at the Music in Motion Festival on Saturday, October 16.

Francis Howell North hosted the event, but it was held at North Point High School in Wentzville due to renovation work at Howell North.

It’s been a good season for The Pride of Washington, who took first-place honors at the Sullivan Band Competition September 25 at Sullivan High School.

It’s a busy upcoming weekend for the WHS Band. They will perform and have senior recognition at Washington’s varsity football game on Thursday, October 21, and compete at Bands of America at the Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis on Saturday, October 23.

Stewart Alloway is the Director of Bands at Washington High School. Jacob Bisaillon is Assistant Director of Bands/Director of Percussion. Madeline Watts is Assistant Director of Bands/ Director of Bands at Washington Middle School.
