Fifth-grade grade students at Labadie Elementary recently collected nearly 1,500 non-perishable food and personal hygiene items to donate to local veterans.
The collection was part of the students’ participation in the DARE program under the instruction of Cpl. James Harden of the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.
