Parent Resources

Partnerships with families are deeply valued in the School District of Washington. There are several ways we strive to partner with you. We want to provide you with valuable information about what your students are learning about and inform you of the types of surveys your children are taking. You can find more information about those item on the following pages:

Another way we work towards partnership is by providing the Parent Summit Series. This series of evenings provides families with the opportunity to engage in learning around curriculum, financial literacy, Luman, and so much more. The topics of learning came from parent feedback through the Parent Advisory Committee and Parent Engagement Nights at every school. You can find more information about those items on the following page:

We strive to meet the needs of all of our students, including those that are Homeless or in Foster care. To learn more information about these supports please visit the following page:

Finally, we value the voice of our parents and want to hear from you. We have established the Social Emotional Learning Parent Advisory Team. This partnership with parents and guardians provides an important voice in the District’s decision-making, planning, and implementation process while continuing to be transparent in the current and future work of the District.
