Fire Safety Program Held at Augusta Elementary

Augusta Elementary students participated in a fire safety presentation event on Tuesday, October 11.

Representatives from the Augusta Fire Department visited Augusta Elementary for a fire safety presentation.

Each class at Augusta took shifts visiting the fire fighters. The students learned how to prevent fires and what to do when fires take place. The fire fighters also spoke about smoke alarms and the duties they have as members of the fire department.

The students then went outside to get a tour of a fire truck.
