Washington got off to a slow start and never recovered in a 54-18 girls basketball loss at Union High School on Tuesday, November 29.
Led by first-year Head Coach Adam Meyer, the Lady Jays (1-2) opened the season on November 19 with a 46-41 loss at Farmington. They picked up their first win of the season on November 22 at Pacific, 33-32.
Washington’s varsity roster features seniors Olivia Reed, Emma Briggs and Gabby Lindemann, juniors Elizabeth Reed, Kendall Nix, Cierra Murrell, Sydney Harbath and Alayna Royal, and sophomores Kelsey Brueggemann, Emily McCormack and Josie Kluesner.
Meyer is being assisted by Sarah Sever, Nicole Desmond, Chad Briggs and Lee Engemann.
