Pathways to Construction, Club FairThe Four Rivers Career Center’s Pathways to Construction Day (Construction Careers Day) and Washington High School’s Club Fair both took place in the WHS library and cafeteria on Friday morning, Oct. 12.

WHS students visited the presentations during their respective math classes.

Representatives from St. Louis area construction companies and unions were on hand to give information and demonstrations about their industry during the Pathways to Construction Day.

Part of the purpose was for the students to learn how math and other skills play an important role in the construction industry.

WHS students were invited to see what clubs are offered at the school and to get the opportunity to speak with club and organization sponsors and members.

The goal of the event was to have fun and get more students involved in school activities.
