The School District of Washington has come up with rescheduled dates for Washington High School Prom and Graduation.

Please note that all of the Graduation rescheduled dates will be held outside at Scanlan Stadium on the WHS campus because work on replacing bleachers and the floor in Blue Jay Gymnasium will be taking place this summer.
Thursday, May 14 Update
Reschedule Plan A has been canceled, which means Reschedule Plan B is now in place.
As of May 14, WHS Prom is scheduled for Thursday, June 25, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Washington.
Graduation is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, at Scanlan Stadium on the WHS campus at 10 a.m. In the event of rain, it will be rescheduled for Sunday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at Scanlan Stadium.
A decision on whether or not Plan B will take place will be made by June 8. If Plan B is canceled, Plan C will be implemented.
Reschedule Plan B
For Reschedule Plan B, Prom will take place on Thursday, June 25, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Washington.
Graduation will take place on Saturday, June 27, at 10 a.m. at Scanlan Stadium. In the event of rain or unforeseen circumstances, it will be moved to the next day, Sunday, June 28, at 11 a.m.
If Prom is called off on June 25, we will automatically go to Plan C for both Prom and Graduation. That decision will be made by June 8.
If Reschedule Plan B is called off, then Reschedule Plan C will be implemented.
Reschedule Plan C
For Reschedule Plan C, Prom will take place on Thursday, July 16, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Washington.
Graduation will take place on Friday, July 24, at 8 p.m. at Scanlan Stadium. In the event of rain or unforeseen circumstances, it will be moved to the next day, Saturday, July 25, at 10 a.m. If that day is postponed, it will be moved to Sunday, July 26, at 11 a.m.
If Prom is called off on July 16, we will automatically go to Plan D for both Prom and Graduation. That decision will be made by June 29.
If Reschedule Plan C is called off, then Reschedule Plan D will be implemented.
Reschedule Plan D
For Reschedule Plan D, Prom will take place on Thursday, July 30, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Washington.
Graduation will take place on Friday, Aug. 14, at 8 p.m. at Scanlan Stadium. In the event of rain or unforeseen circumstances, it will be moved to the next day, Saturday, Aug. 15, at 10 a.m. If that day is postponed, it will be moved to Sunday, Aug. 16, at 11 a.m.
The decision for Plan D will be made by July 20.
This plan may be modified or cancelled as guidance or requirements change as it relates to venues, student safety, public health, weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
We wish to schedule Prom before Graduation and this plan provides for such. Because the Graduation ceremony must occur outdoors due to the Blue Jay Gymnasium construction, we ask that families plan for all scenarios outlined to accommodate for rain and rescheduling issues.
The School District of Washington is making every effort to provide the Class of 2020 with these opportunities.
