Students in the Washington High School FFA Chapter recently competed at the Missouri State FFA Convention and Expo in Columbia.
Grant Cottrell placed fifth in the State in Division 1 Prepared Public Speaking Leadership Development Event.
Blake Dewert, Blake Ford, Camden Dewert, and Dayton Hanneken placed 13th in the State for Agriculture Sales Career Development Event.
Additionally, Washington FFA students had a Proficiency Award Application compete at the state level and received a State Award. Those students were Evan Haberberger in the area of Diversified Crop Production Placement, Evie Boevingloh in the area of Equine Science Entrepreneurship, Andrew Frankenberg in the area of Fiber and/or Oil Crop Production, Blake Voss in the area of Specialty Animal Production, and Blake Deppe in the area of Swine Production Placement.
Washington FFA also had five students receive the State FFA Degree. Those students were Blake Ford, Blake Dewert, Alex Huddleston, Luke Haberberger and Katie Frankenberg.
