WHS Track and Field Athlete Abi Gilliatt Named Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week
Washington High School track and field athlete Abi Gilliatt is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week, sponsored by First State Community Bank.
Gilliatt, a junior, has established herself as one of the top athletes in the Gateway Athletic Conference in her first year of track and field. During the GAC Central meet, Gilliatt was a three-time conference champion, winning both the 200-meter dash and the 400-meter dash, and running the leadoff leg in the winning 1,600-meter relay.
Gilliatt also excels in the classroom with a 3.95 grade-point average.
