WHS Students Complete Miniature Room Project
Posted on 01/02/2019
Miniature Room ProjectStudents in Kristen Perriman’s Housing and Interior Design class at Washington High School recently completed a miniature room project where they designed a room in a shoe box.

The project had to include flooring, wall treatments, furnishings and decorations.

Some of the items used for the projects were unused carpet samples, wallpaper samples, material swatches, small tile samples, styrofoam, foam board, popsicle sticks, straws and old Barbie/doll house furniture.

Perriman gives special thanks to Union Furniture, Country Manor Decorating, the WHS Art Department and the WHS Woodworking Department for donations of supplies for the students to use.

Photos of the completed miniature rooms are below.
