WHS Cross Country Runner Logan Luttrell Named Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week
Washington High School cross country runner Logan Luttrell is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week, sponsored by First State Community Bank.
Luttrell, a senior, finished in fifth place in the Class 4 District 2 Boys Cross Country Meet in Nixa on Saturday, October 28, in a career-best time of 16:10. It was his sixth personal-best time of the season.
By placing fifth at the district meet, Luttrell recorded the top boys placement in program history.
Luttrell will compete at the Class 4 MSHSAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 4, at Gans Creek in Columbia. Joining Luttrell will be fellow Blue Jays Gable Ohm, Steven Broadbent, Josie Keiser and Olivia Mahon.
