Guidance Program Objectives


  • To promote personal social adjustment, vocational career planning and educational planning through developmental and sequential lessons in the classroom.
  • To counsel students individually and in groups to create improved learning motivation.
  • To consult with teachers, administrators, partners and community agencies to create improved learning climates.
  • To identify needs and strengths through testing the child; developing a personal history of the child in school and at home.
  • To share knowledge regarding students and suggest alternative strategies to teachers and others professionals during conferences, seminars and special group meetings.
