Christian Meyer, Nick Hellmann Named Washington Rotary Students of the Month

Meyer, Hellmann Rotary Students of MonthChristian Meyer and Nick Hellmann recently were recognized as the Washington Rotary Students of the Month for Washington High School and Four Rivers Career Center, respectively.

Christian Meyer is the son of Dan and Tonya Meyer. He’s a senior at Washington High School and is a member of National Honor Society, Link Crew and the football team. He also is in the Project Lead The Way Engineering program at Four Rivers Career Center and works with All-Abilities Athletics.

In the classroom, Christian holds a 3.9 grade-point average. After graduation, he hopes to play college football and major in civil engineering. He’s undecided on where he will attend.

Nick Hellmann is the son of Rick and Kelley Hellmann. He’s a senior at Washington High School and is in the Building Construction program at Four Rivers Career Center. He’s a member of Future Farmers of America (FFA) and the Franklin County 4-H Club.

In the classroom, Nick holds a 3.8 grade-point average. After graduation, he’s undecided on his short term future plans, but eventually wants to be in the construction industry specializing in welding or carpentry.

Meyer and Hellmann were presented their student of the month plaques by Dr. Greg Potts, Washington Rotary Club President. See the photos below.
