Teaching Careers Student Alyssa Warnecke Receives State Educators Rising Scholarship

Alyssa Warnecke, a senior at Washington High School and a student in the CAPS Teaching Careers program, is the first student at Four Rivers Career Center to win the State Educators Rising Scholarship. She was chosen as a model future teacher and outstanding student.

Warnecke also was recently selected to be part of a summer study program at the University of Central Missouri entitled Central Summer Academy.

Warnecke currently serves as the Educators Rising secretary and placed second at the Ed Rising State Conference. She is completing field experience at Clearview Elementary, where she teaches fourth grade with her former teacher and mentor at Clearview, Nicole Machelett.
