Washington High School Track and Field Athlete Morgan Gratza Named Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week
Washington High School track and field athlete Morgan Gratza is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week, sponsored by First State Community Bank.
Gratza, a senior, became a three-time state qualifier with two top four performances at the Class 5 Sectional 2 meet at Washington High School.
Gratza qualified for the MSHSAA Class 5 Championships in both the high jump and the javelin. She finished third in the high jump at the sectional meet by clearing 5-1.75 and fourth in the javelin with a throw of 111-9.75.
In previous meets, Gratza earned All-District honors in the high jump and javelin and All-GAC honors in three events.
In the classroom, Gratza owns a 3.65 grade-point average. She plans to continue her track and field career at Missouri State University.
