Washington High School Wrestler Stella Secor Named Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week
Washington High School wrestler Stella Secor is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week, sponsored by First State Community Bank.
Secor, a junior, went 5-0 with four pins to claim the 125-pound title at the Sherri Lance Invitational January 14 at Rockwood Summit High School.
Secor’s performance helped push the Lady Jays into third place in the team standings with only half of the team competing.
“Stella has been willing to wrestle up a weight class all year, and is ready to compete at any weight, at any time,” said Washington Wrestling Coach Josh Ohm.
