FRCC DECA District CompetitionFour Rivers Career Center DECA competed in the District 6 DECA Career Development Conference at Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters on Tuesday, February 7.

A total of 52 students represented FRCC DECA in a variety of events.

“For most of our 52 competitors, this was their first competition. We heard a lot of positive feedback from judges and students alike,” said FRCC DECA advisor Katelyn Huber. “It was a great learning experience for students and taught them how to think on their feet, helped them polish their public speaking skills, and got them out of their comfort zone.”

Brooklyn Holdmeier and Ella Lause – First place, Career Development Project

Brayden McColloch - Third place, Business Services Management

Filip Zajicek – Third place, Entrepreneurship

Jillian Huellinghoff – Fourth place, Marketing Communication Series
