WHS Track and Field Athlete Alyssa Repke Named Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week
Washington High School track and field sophomore Alyssa Repke is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week, sponsored by First State Community Bank.
Competing at the MSHSAA Class 4 State Track and Field Championship at Jefferson City High School on Friday, May 26, Repke notched a fourth-place finish in the girls discus with a toss of 37.63 meters (123-5 feet).
Repke displayed her dominance in the discus over the final four weeks of the season, winning the GAC Central title, the Class 4 District 5 title, and the Class 5 sectional title.
In the classroom, Repke has a 4.0 grade-point average.
