WHS Project Lead the Way Computer Science Students Develop Own Games

Students in Tim Zumsteg’s Project Lead the Way Computer Science Year 1 class at Washington High School have been working on developing their own games. The class invited WHS and District administrators to the library on Tuesday, November 7, for a presentation of all the apps that the students created.

Some students took a previously created game such as Pong and Chess and recreated it in their own way. Other students created a story type of game with characters they drew. Some students took the spooky route and themed their game around Halloween.

The class had a round table type of presentation allowing administrators to roam the room and test out the games that the students created, ask questions, and view their code.
