Northern Star Homes Awards Scholarships to Four Rivers Career Center Students
Northern Star Homes proudly announces the awarding of scholarships to four students from Four Rivers Career Center.
These students played a pivotal role in designing and marketing a new home, with their efforts culminating in the successful sale of the property. Proceeds from the sale directly funded their scholarships, highlighting the tangible impact of their hard work and creativity.
Students involved were Brock Thompson, Landen Kriete, Ryder Loeb, all of Washington High School, and Lexi Yochim of New Haven High School.
As part of a real-world learning experience, the students collaborated closely with Northern Star Homes to contribute to the layout, design, and marketing strategy for the newly built home. Their hands-on involvement offered insight into the residential construction industry while allowing them to apply classroom concepts to a professional project.
“The partnership with Northern Star Homes has been an incredible opportunity for our students to experience the full cycle of a real estate project,” said Katelyn Huber, School District of Washington Business Connection Coordinator. “To see their hard work rewarded with scholarships is a powerful example of how education and industry can come together to benefit students and the community.”
This initiative reflects the District’s commitment to expanding experiential learning through programs that partner with local businesses and professionals.
The School District of Washington is grateful to Northern Star Homes and RE/MAX Today for their support in making this opportunity possible.
