Washington High School track and field athlete Alyssa Repke is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week.

Repke, a senior, broke the school record in the girls discus set by Robin Sandbothe in 1980 with a throw of 41.71 meters, shattering the old record by 0.77 of a meter.

A two-time state medalist in the discus, Repke has signed to continue her track and field career at Southeast Missouri State University.

Alyssa Repke
