Homecoming Week at Washington High School is October 6-11.

The Homecoming football game is scheduled for Friday, October 10. The football Blue Jays take on North Point at 7 p.m.

This year’s Homecoming theme is “A Sky Full of Stars.”

The Homecoming Court will be introduced prior to the football game at approximately 6:30 p.m.

The coronation will be at the dance, which takes place on Saturday, October 11, in the Blue Jay Gymnasium at WHS from 6-9 p.m. Coronation will be at 8 p.m.

The Homecoming parade is Friday, October 10, at 4:30 p.m. The parade will begin at Four Rivers Career Center, to left on Stafford, to right on Eighth Street to right on Sunnyside and end at Washington High School.

Homecoming dance tickets are $10 each and will be on sale in the guidance lobby at WHS before and after school on October 6-10. Tickets will not be sold at the dance. Students who want to bring an outside guest must complete a guest form from the principal's office before purchasing a ticket.

The WHS Powder Puff Football game between the juniors and seniors is scheduled for Wednesday, October 8, at Scanlan Stadium at 7 p.m.

October 6-10 is spirit week at Washington High School. The themes for each day are as follows:

Monday – P.J. Day

Tuesday –  Constellation Creation (Twin Day).

Wednesday – Twinkle ’N Glow (Neon)

Thursday – Moon vs. Sun (underclassmen in silver, upperclassmen in gold)

Friday – Black Out
