Nine Washington High School Students Selected for All-District Choir
Washington High School had a strong showing at the recent All-District Choir Rehearsal, with nine students earning spots on the prestigious choir roster.
The following students were selected for the All-District Choir: Morgan Koch, Andrew Dawson, Annie Snider, Owen Van Leer, Steven Banderman, Brooke Opfer, Leila Scarborough, Morgan Straatmann, and Jacob Donahue.
Of the nine selected, Koch, Dawson, Snider, Van Leer, and Banderman scored at the top of their respective voice parts. These students are now eligible to audition for the Missouri All-State Choir in November.
“Nine students selected to All-District Choir is the highest number we’ve had to date,” said Jessie Katz, WHS choir instructor. “We’re so proud of all who auditioned. They each represented our school with pride and professionalism.”
The All-District Choir selection process is highly competitive, making this achievement a testament to the talent, dedication, and hard work of Washington High School’s vocal music students.
