With Veterans Day on Tuesday, November 11, buildings in the School District of Washington have scheduled Veterans Day programs.

Washington High School

Washington High School’s annual Veterans Day Assembly will be on Tuesday, November 11, at 8:30 a.m. in the Blue Jay Gymnasium.

The featured speaker will be Sergeant First Class (retired) Craig A. Showers, United States Army.

Breakfast will be served for all Veterans from 7:15-8:15 a.m. in the band room (Northington Lobby Entrance). RSVP to Michelle at WHS at 636-231-2200 is appreciated, but not required.

Washington Middle School

Washington Middle School will have a Veterans Day recognition program on Friday, November 7, from 9-10 a.m. in the school cafeteria. Pictures of students' relatives who are actively serving or have served in the armed forces will be on display for a Veterans Wall of Honor. NJROTC cadets will perform a short program in the cafeteria showcasing their talents. Veterans are invited to arrive between 8-9 a.m. to be the honored guests. Donuts and coffee/juice will be served.

November 6 – South Point Elementary: Breakfast for Veterans at 7:40 a.m. Ceremony of Honor at 8:20 a.m.

November 7 – Clearview Elementary: Breakfast for Veterans and their families at 7:30 a.m. Veterans Day Program at 8 a.m.

November 7 – Washington Middle School: Donuts and coffee/juice will be served for Veterans between 8-9 a.m. Veterans Day Recognition Program at 9 a.m.

November 10 – Marthasville Elementary: Donuts for Veterans will be served at 8 a.m. Veterans Day Program at 9 a.m.

November 11 – Washington High School: Veterans Day Assembly at 8:30 a.m. in the Blue Jay Gymnasium, Breakfast for Veterans from 7:15-8:15 a.m. in the band room.

November 11 – Labadie Elementary: Breakfast for Veterans at 7:30 a.m. Veterans Day Program at 8:30 a.m.

November 11 – Campbellton Elementary: Breakfast for Veterans at 8 a.m. Veterans Day Program at 9 a.m.

November 11 – Augusta Elementary: Coffee and donuts for Veterans at 8:30 a.m. Veterans Day Program at 9 a.m.
