Washington High School softball player Riley Coleman is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week.

Coleman, a freshman third baseman, finished the 2025 season with 12 home runs, 49 RBIs, a .420 batting average, .508 on-base percentage and a .870 slugging percentage. Her 12 home runs is the second-most in a single season in program history only behind Taylor Brown’s 16 in 2023. She also played solid defensively at third base in helping the Lady Jays to a 21-12 record.

Coleman should be a force for the Washington softball program over the next three years.
