Washington High School Hosts 'Scrappin at Scanlan' Outdoor Wrestling Meet
Washington High School wrestling hosted its annual outdoor varsity boys and girls meet at Jim Scanlan Stadium on the WHS campus on Friday, November 28. The event is called, “Scrappin at Scanlan Stadium.”
Washington competed against St. Clair on both the boys and girls side. A nice size crowd was on hand for event with the temperature in the mid 30’s.
WHS Wrestling Coach Josh Ohm designated School District of Washington Superintendent Board of Education member Dr. Frank Wood as the honorary coach. He sat on Washington’s bench next to Ohm for the entire event.
Washington won both meets against St. Clair The Blue Jays defeated St. Clair in the boys meet, 69-10, and in the girls meet, 48-36.
