Washington High School’s 2026 Scholarship Honors Night took place at the CJB Auditorium on Thursday, April 23.

WHS seniors received recognition for scholarships and awards.

Dr. Eric Turner, WHS Principal, gave the opening remarks. School District of Washington Superintendent Dr. Jennifer Kephart gave the closing remarks.

National Merit Scholarships recipients were Nathan Oreskovic (finalist) and Grace Gargrave (commended).  

Bright Flight Scholarship recipients were Peter Bush, Andrew Dawson, Marcus Dawson, Grace Gargrave, Jack Henderson, Olivia Jensen, Eva Lohmeyer, Ryan Miesner, Nathan Oreskovic, Ethan Pier, Eleanor Raeker, Teagun Riley, Nicholas Smith, Genevieve Steffens, Sarah Stewart, Zachary Sullivan and Madelyn Sumpter.
