Augusta Sixth Grade ParadeAugusta Elementary held its Sixth Grade Parade through parts of Augusta on Thursday evening, May 20.

Students in Augusta’s sixth-grade class, dressed in their Washington Blue Jays Class of 2027 T-shirts, rode in vehicles driven by family members. Many displayed signs on their vehicle displaying their name and a congratulatory message.

Escorted by the Augusta Community Volunteer Fire Department and the Washington Police Department, the parade began just down the hill from Augusta Elementary at the library, looped around the school and back down the hill. Students received prizes when riding past the school.
