Washington High School 1973 State Championship Football Team to Be Honored at Homecoming Game September 29
Washington High School, the School District of Washington, and the WHS Athletic Association is inviting members of the 1973 Washington High School state championship football team back for Homecoming on Friday, September 29, for the 50th Anniversary and
induction into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame coming up in November.
Team members are invited to meet in the Nix cafeteria at 4:30 p.m. for dinner with the current varsity team. Stay for pregame festivities and warmups on the field. The 1973 team will be honored at halftime. The booster club will have a tent set up for refreshments for members of the 1973 team.
