WHS Track and Field Athlete Josie Keiser Named Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week
Washington High School track and field athlete Josie Keiser is the Washington Missourian Athlete of the Week, sponsored by First State Community Bank.
Keiser, a freshman, won the 800-meter run with the second-fastest time in Missouri Class 4 this season at the Francis Howell Invitational on April 28. It was her second varsity win of the season. She also ran the opening leg of Washington’s 3,200-meter relay team than finished second and also was a member of the 1,600-meter relay team that finished fourth.
Keiser also excels in the classroom with a 4.0 grade-point average.
