Washington High School’s Winter Courtwarming is scheduled for Friday, February 11. The boys and girls basketball teams both will be in action against Ft. Zumwalt North.
Varsity action will be played in the Blue Jay Gymnasium. The girls game begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by the boys at 7 p.m.
Junior varsity action will take place in the Little Blue Jay Gymnasium. The boys game tips at 5:30 p.m. followed by the girls at 7 p.m.
This year's Courtwarming theme is “Sweetheart Dance.”
The Courtwarming Court will be introduced at halftime of the varsity boys game. The dance will be held following the varsity boys basketball game in the Little Blue Jay Gymnasium from 8:45-10:30 p.m.
Tickets to the dance are available for WHS students for $5 and will be sold before school February 7-11 in the guidance lobby. There are approximately 300 tickets available.
February 7-11 is spirit week at Washington High School. The themes for each day are as follows:
Monday – Comfort (Wear your favorite PJs)
Tuesday- Sports (Wear your best jersey)
Wednesday- Comedy (Meme day)
Thursday- Adam Sandler (Dress like Adam Sandler)
Friday- Pink Out (Wear your favorite jersey)
