Washington High School golfer Brennan Strubberg is the KLPW Radio Athlete of the Week.
Strubberg, a senior golfer, competed at the MSHSAA Class 4 Golf Championships at Twin Hills Golf and Country Club in Joplin on May 17 and 18, finishing in a tie for ninth place place overall with rounds of 75 and 77 for a 36-hole total of 152 to claim all-state honors.
Strubberg was the individual champion of the Class 4 District 2 Tournament at Wolf Hollow Golf Club with a two-over par round of 73.
Washington freshman Alex Fregalette also competed at the state tournament, placing in a tie for 22nd place with rounds of 80 and 76 for a 156 total.
